Tony Forrest: artist working in oils, painting the scenery around the Cornish coast. Harbours, beach scenes and coastal scenery. Tony has been a professional artist for over 30 years painting the wildlife of Africa and more recently the Cornish coast and harbours.
One Day Oil painting workshop:
You will be painting a Tiger on a prepared canvas panel and reference photo will be supplied to enable students to launch straight into the painting process. The class will have an informal atmosphere which should also encourage the students to experiment and be open-minded.
Materials to bring:
- A 12″ x 10″ painting panel (for a second picture should drying time need to be accommodated).
- A good selection of Standard Oil Paints.
- Liquin or other painting medium
- Selection of wide and small brushes in GOOD CONDITION, including Sable or similar Round sizes 2, 3 and 4 plus small Filbert or Flat Hog
- Palette
- Cleaning Solution, paper towels etc.
