An established illustrator and botanical painter, Susan has exhibited widely, worked as a scientific illustrator for the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, and has painted Orchids for the RHS from whom she has several medals. A founder member of the Society of Botanical Artists and tutor on their diploma course, Susan has extensive experience teaching art at all levels. Within this one day workshop you will be able to learn the basic techniques in this versatile medium. No experience necessary as the course is aimed at complete beginners, simply bring a reference photo of your choice, some mixed media paper, pencil, eraser and some basic colour oil pastels.
