We are excited to announce another opportunity to attend a workshop in oils with sought after marine artist Nicholas St John Rosse. For this session we will expand on human interest and as well as sand, sea and rocks, and will be including some more substantial figures in the beach pictures. The day will be in two halves: in the morning our female clothed model will be doing her best to look ‘beachy’ in changing 20/30 minute poses over 3 hours or so.For this please bring an A4 cartridge pad and any drawing medium you are confident with for drawing quickly – this part of the workshop will be to collect drawings and ideas for our afternoon of painting.
For the afternoon please bring your usual painting materials and for oils 8″ x 12″ or 16″ x 12″ boards. Your colours should relate to the sea and beach.
