Calligraphy Workshop
With Jane Delaney
Jane Delaney is a graphic designer and professional watercolour artist whose work has brought her national and international acclaim over the last 30 years. She now resides in Bodmin, Cornwall and is a member of the Cornwall Watercolour Society. Jane will be running calligraphy classes at Stable Art from September 2019. Calligraphy is a classic artform and a beautiful skill to learn. Jane’s classes will guide students through selection of tools and materials, pen usage, forming letters, layout and spacing, choosing typefaces, etc. The course is intended to develop creativity and each student will be helped and encouraged to produce a finished piece of which they will be proud. Discussions and examples will provide lots of ideas for future personal projects, such as personalised cards, place settings, thank you notes, etc. Join me for this introductory ‘taster’ workshop exploring different aspects of the craft.
