Botanical painting in Watercolour pencils

We will explore the use of the versatile medium of watercolour pencils, and then use them to paint a botanical subject of your choice, this workshop will be suited to all ability levels and numbers will be limited.

Hot pressed watercolour paper

Botanical subject of choice (live).
Susan Hillier is an established illustrator and botanical painter, has exhibited widely, and illustrated many books.
She has worked as a scientific illustrator for the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, and has painted Orchids for the RHS, from whom she has several medals. Susan is a founder member of the Society of Botanical Artists and a tutor on their
diploma course, she has extensive experience teaching art at all levels.
