Well, so much has happened in the last few weeks! We now have a completely new 95% finished extension on the other side of the Chapel. This is a completely timber framed extension with a Delabole natural slate roof and timber cladding. This will be our material store for all the framing moulding and frame making.
Machinery store
The last of the scaffolding has been removed and we can finally see the old building in all her glory! The Foyer is completely stone and timber clad. The beautiful Quoin stones on the corners were all cast by the original owner Bob Sharman to match existing, we are so pleased to have been able to find and use them all.
Foyer staircase
Inside is completely painted, floors are complete upstairs and most of the light fittings are in! We even have one of the bathrooms in! The Foyer staircase has been installed and after many months our dog, Blue, can come upstairs with us.
