Who could believe it?! We’ve been trading at The Chapel now for just over five months, and it feels as if we’ve always been here!
It seems hard to imagine what it would be like to return to our little shop in Bodmin, as we seem to have expanded so completely into our new premises. Business has boomed ever since we first opened the doors, Coby’s Cafe has gone from strength to strength – first we served only coffees and cakes, now we have a full menu of delicious drinks, cakes, light lunches and tea cakes.
Art classes at the Chapel have taken off in the log cabins, Pete Graham the resident stone carver is busy holding classes and doing commissions while in the other cabin we now have a full calendar of art and craft courses and workshops.
We’ve even had every type of weather since relocating too – from the glorious sunshine of late, to just a few weeks ago, so much snow we couldn’t open! At least it gave us the opportunity to take some lovely Christmas card photos for next year…
Here’s to the next few months – I wonder what summer will bring? Better start making some picnic tables!
