A one day introduction to the linocut colour reduction printmaking technique with Helen Murgatroyd. You will learn how to plan, carve and print in registration. The course is aimed at intermediates but enthusiastic beginners are welcome too!
Helen Murgatroyd is a printmaker based near Bude in North Cornwall. She graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2010 with an MA in Fine Art Printmaking. In 2019 she was voted the Printmaker’s Printmaker at Printfest, in Cumbria.
Helen’s work can be seen in various locations in the South West including The Burton Gallery, Bideford and The Hybrid Gallery in Honiton. She regularly exhibits at Childwickbury Arts Fair where she demonstrates her printmaking process.
